Tabor Asset Management is named after Mount Tabor, located in Lower Galilee, Israel. Mount Tabor is the site of a famous biblical battle between the Israelite army and Canaanite army. The Canaanite army was much stronger, yet the Israelites were victorious because of their fortitude, perseverance, and confidence.
Tabor Asset Management LP was formed in 2018 by Jonathan Jacoby, CIO, with the belief that we can generate better returns with a similar risk philosophy employed at Millennium and UBS O’Connor. Our flagship strategy is a low net one focused on tech, media, telecom & consumer (TMTC) stocks.
